Default Hands Free Link - Phone Compatibility 2014 Accord

Hi All, I'm new, so hopefully I do this right. I have a 2014 Honda Accord EXVL 2 door without the Nav system. I am an android user, and need a new phone. My current phone, a HTC Evo 4GLTE, works with the car as far as voice calls go, but it is incompatible as far as Texting and Email goes. The Honda Owners Site has a Web calculator that tells you the level of compatibility of your phone with the system. I've tried this, but cannot find an Android phone that is compatible with Voice, Text, and Email. I'm mostly interested in Samsung phones. Does anyone know if any of the new Samsung phones are compatible with my new ride ? Thanks for the help.... Dave

nice choice. Currently the Honda head units are designed for full integration with iPhone products using specific Honda apps

They will update the head unit firmware when new updates and apps are available. Then compatibility with Android platforms are expected.

You will get BT compatibility for audio transfer and phone functions, but email and text are iPhone based.

Be patient, the car is still very new and the level of integration is also new.
