Default Help!! Ipod for 2009 accord!!!

OK....so i'm trying to get this ipod working on the 2009 EXL v6. Its hooked up to the aux spot in the glovebox and I can get it to play, but how to i get the controls to work on the headunit itself? I feel like i'm missing something. Doesnt reaching inside the glovebox to skip tracks everytime i want to defeat the purpose of the aux switch?
help me out here. I'm at a loss so far...

Lol the AUX is just a 3.5mm headphone jack correct? If so how could you expect it to control the ipod?

If you got the Alpine iDA-X100, the head unit is the control for the iPod. It has a screen that is just like the iPod screen, and it got excellent reviews. Modified Mag also reviewed it, and they said it was flawless. My .02

I'll take a look at the Alpine. I guess I'm just a little confused as to why Honda would put an Aux spot in the glovebox for ..lets say..an Ipod and you cant use the controls up front to work the thing. I mean whats the point? Am i missing something?

Honda also make an iPod interface cord to plug it into the Dock connector. As for why they put the jack in the glovebox, who knows...

Well the point is that is just an audio input, so you can connect anything to it. The ipod adapter from honda does control the ipod, but what you have is just an audio input.
