They are from NEC for buildings. The wire rating comes ONLY from the insulation temperature rating. As noted, the values are conservative, but good for size selection. These are applicable for any voltage because a wire size correlates to the amperage, not voltage.

They make a better connection, but if the main fuse blows, you have to replace it with another one of those .... that's why I like the other type better, standard fuses.

The 2 types are the same size .... you can bend the tab so the new connection lies flat across the top of the other fuses .... bend it with the female connector in place to make sure there's enough room for it. Also, make sure it's an insulated connector.

[sm=nono.gif] Aaron, Standard Blade fuses and Mini-Blade (ATC) fuses are not the same size. 6th gens use the Mini-Blade fuses while 5th gens use standard. So, to the OP, you want the Mini (non-folding ones) from that site.

What I meant is the special fuse with the hot lead and the regular fuse with the blade adapter are the same .... not full size and mini.

You need mini type as noted ..... either adapter system would work, but I'd recommend the one that uses standard fuses. Both can be bent flat.

make sure of which one you need for some use regular size fuse an others use mini. i used this to hardwire a radar detector, gps, and a remote wire for amp
