I have a 2013 honda accord Lx. When I open the doors, only my dome light illuminated, my map lights do not. Does anyone know if there is a way to make my
Map lights illuminate with my dome light when the car is unlocked and when the doors open?

 

I don't know how to do this or if it is possible. In the owners manual, it there anything that shows how to set the map lights?

 

There should be a switch up top by the lights that give you the option for them to be 'off' or 'door'. If you have a moonroof, it SB the switch to the right of that one.

I shouldve added this information in my initial post. The LX model of the 2013 Accord, there is no switch on the map lights to allow them to turn on when the door opens. There is only the option for the dome light in the back. I am wondering if there is a way to bypass by changing the way they are wired or anything else.

 

anything is possible. the lights are triggered by the door switches. you can tie into that system and have them work from the switch. you just need to read a wiring diagram for the car and be savvy with electronics.
