Default iPod adapter (USA spec) died suddenly!

Hello y'all.

I have one of these:

http://www.crutchfield.ca/USA_Spec_i...581pa11hon.htm

it's been in the car for ~10 months. All has been awesome. then today I noticed "why is there nothing coming from the left side?" I thought I blew a speaker. Nope....went to radio, it was fine.

So, I just turned it up a bit, and went about my business. Turned off the car, went into a store. Came out: NOTHING.

any ideas out there? The plug thing was REALLY REALLY tight, so I can't imagine it wiggled out. I'd really rather not take all that stuff apart again.

any tips welcome.

Thanks

red

typical IT answer: turn if off (disconnect power to reset).

there are two critical connection points - both use the round DIN style plug. they will lose connection if bent or tweaked.
