iSimple iPod adapter text display issue
Hi all,
I recently installed an iSimple PXAMG Media Gateway ipod adapter into my 2007 Honda Accord EX-L (without nav.) As far as sound goes, it works great. But I'm supposed to be able to see the track names in the factory display and it definitely is not doing that. I can FF, REW, skip, etc thru the factory stereo, so I know its communicating, but I can't see the track names. I just see AUX I or AUX II. I am 100% positive the adapter is installed correctly, and I have updated the firmware to the latest version available on the site. Has anyone else had this issue? Or know a place where I can get more answers? iSimple's customer service isn't very responsive.
Thanks!

Yes I got it to work. You have to plug in the unit, then cycle through the modes on your factory stereo until you hit AUX II. Wait a second and the display will tell you what is attached to the AUX II input, and quickly hit the tune button until you see IPOD. Typically I have my XM radio in my AUX II slot, so when the display says SAT I hit the tune button til IPOD comes up. AUX II is the only way to see the track name on your stereo, but Ive found that the stereo controls are slow and buggy, so I typically keep it on AUX I which doesnt show the track names on the screen, but allows you to control the ipod with the click wheel. Much easier.
Good luck!
Good luck!
