so you're trying to take the audio out of the aftermarket DVD and input to the factory AUX jack? and you want to hard wire or make a custom harness adapter?

you can try to make your own harness adapter, but it will be cheaper and easier to simply solder wire taps. you don't have to cut any wires, just peel insulation back and solder a wire on.

you say 2 wires, but do you need more than 2 wires connected? you mean wiring 2 harnesses?

Default Need to make connector

I finally able to get the connector diagram from manufacturer.

I have the following custom wire harness

which need to be connected to car stereo AUX to this (white) connector

This is the wiring diagram of image 1 (wiring harness connector) that I got from manufacturer.

Is there anything pre-made available or I have to make it by myself?

Thanks a lot for your help. really appreciate that.

i think you'll need to make one yourself, you're trying to mate a specific aftermarket DVD harness with a factory harness.

was this DVD player for a different vehicle? if so, you could find both matching factory harness plugs, then solder their wires together.

nice find with the schematic!

When I bought the unit, I was told that this is for 8th generation Accord.
I think they may think that european accords and american accords are same.

All other connectors fit perfectly except this one.
Its 20pin connector which I think needs to go to my factory stereo AUX.

I am trying to get a harness so I can make one by myself.

where can I get the harness for 12pin something like this
Amazon.com: Metra 71-1721 Reverse Wiring Harness for 1998-up Honda/Acura Vehicles Factory Radio: Electronics

Ofcourse I need that or is there any alternate way to connect at the back of my stereo?

The amazon link for Metra 71-1721 is good for my custom harness connector.
What kind of harness I need for my stereo? metra harness number would really appreciated.

Oh, I didn't realize they were european vs. US models. I forgot or missed that above for some reason.

Metra is US products. I haven't looked for a European wire harness site... Yet

Look on hondapartsdeals dot com. They will have harness information and purchasing options.

The metra harnesses are for main power/speaker and won't be for the AUX/changer/SAT inputs. PAC-audio and USAspec and GromAudio have products with the harnesses you need, maybe they would sell the harness only?
