Default Need a new radio.........

We have found a nice 1992 Accord for our daughter. I need to replace the radio. I would like to have ideas on what way to go. There are radio shops arround or buy unit and install my self. The radioin car now does not work.
My thoughts are try and find used factory and wait until she starts driving and then make decision.

Also you could buy an aftermarker CD player deck from www.Crutchfield.com.
They can be had for pretty cheap these days and they come with installation instructions. When I bought one back in '99 it came with the necessary wiring harness and installation kit to make it fit correctly in the dash. I installed it myself (in a 1990 Mustang GT) and I was only 16 and a complete noobwhen it came toanything to do with cars.
