my friend has the same speakers as me, except his are amped and mine are not. the difference is night and day

im personally a fan of jl and alpine, but its all subjective. go to your local audio store and listen to as many brands as you can.

 

Ive heard JL's before they are amazing speakers i agree but unfortunatly theyre a bit out of my price range and I live in canada and I havnt seen them at any stores around here. Im basically just looking for a good quality speaker that isnt too expensive with good bass mainly as i listen to mostly rap and R&B.

Also, does anyone have a link with instructions to taking off the door panel as i have to take the front door panel off to get to my 6 1/2" front door speakers. Thanks for the help by the way everyone

 

I only paid $180 a pair for my JLs, that's only a bit more than what your looking at already. I wouldn't be surprised if they are even cheaper now the C5s are cheaper.
