does the positive go to B+ and the neg to gnd?
and its rockfordfosgate p3002. so 2004ish hope it works
Yep you've got it right.
wow all set, id say it hits the same after tuning need to tune a wee bit more but it sounds so much cleaner and hits better, the stupid amp lights up and goes to the beat. lol i should line it up to the opening in the back seat.
Oh and that amp can only handle 4 ohms, so if that sub you got is 2 ohms your going to burn the amp up. It might say it on the sub if you take it out, but the best way is to check it with a multimeter. Set it to ohms and make sure you get good contact on the terminals and it should be at least 3.5ohms. Vibrations will make the number fluctuate so keep it still.
no clue how to do that
if i read the specs right for the amp is either 4 or 8 ohms depending on the number.
Ahh your right W1s only come in 8ohms and 4ohms, so your fine lol.
EDIT: I actually had no idea they still made 8 ohm car audio subs lol |
that good or bad? also toofatt for your head unit do you have the double din or the other one that moves all the air controls around?
There is no double DIN for the 7th gen without custom work. I do have the kit that replaces the A/C controls.
The lower resistance is more efficient I believe. I'm not 100% if it is efficiency but it is louder. The lower resistance can burn up an amp though. In the past amps could only handle higher loads. |
