Are Powered Subwoofers worth anything?
I have ordered from ikesound as well, the items were new and perfect condition. The nice thing with crutchfield are the freebies, when I ordered my headunit they sent a free install kit, harness, and like 10 pages on how to install it. I'm also a fan of onlinecarstereo.com, and techronics.com . I ordered my speakers, CVX, and amps from them. Very satisfied with both stores.

But if I can get the same exact thing for 1/2 the price.......
I'll check out those other sites as well. thanks!

Plus they have tech support/customer servicethat is very good in answering questions.

If and when you do go out and listen to subs at BB or CC keep in mind that they probably won't sound as good as they could. They like to use mismatched enclosures, overpowered low-power subs and underpowered high-power subs. Whereas, if you get something custom designed to the sub you want, it's likely the SQL will improve ten fold.
Yeah, I normally wouldn't order from crutchfield, but my headunit was only $400 on crutchfield and $350 on ebay and other sources. I don't have a big budget so price was always a big factor, and freebies are only nice for headunits, unless they send you a amp kit for free lol.

Are you saying the tech support on this forum isn't good enough?

yeah I kind of figured that about BB or CC. Ususally they just have the subs mounted on the walls in a sound room or something from what I can remember. I know that would not be what it would sound like in a car haha. I just figure it may give me a general idea...

I paid close to retail for the amp a few years ago for it
now its roughly $100 less.
But I have no idea what kind of wattage my subs are getting...hmm maybe a new thread.
