Angry Problem w/ rearview mirror

Just bought a new ex-l v6 w/ navigation & factory tint. Is anyone seeing too many headlights in rear view mirror at night? The dealership here says problem is with rear defroster & there is nothing to be done. Can anyone advise?

if it is too bright get darker tint. your car is low to the ground any truck headlights will shine in and reflect into your eyes. that is just the way it is. the only thing that i know of that can be done is darker tint.

Default Know what problem is w/rearview mirror

Thanks for your reply & help in trying to resovle my too many headlights in my new Accord's rearview mirror, but actually, I bought the car already "factory tinted darker" I thought & it is not just trucks on the road behind me causing the problem. I drove an untinted new Accord last night and there was NO "tons of headlights" & I mean 40 or 50 I was seeing at night. The problem is the tint, which was poorly done by a Honda dealership, which was NOT a factory tint. Now, they are going to remove that tint and put it back on correctly--I hope! Thanks for trying to help.

Yea, it is not an issue of tint darkness, but the gaps between the tint and glass around the defroster lines. I agree that. A proper installation with a quality product should be devoid of issues.
