Default Quality Head Unit on Tight Budget

I need a short list of good, inexpensive head units when aux input on the front. I have been using an old Sony X plode and want to easily be able to hook up my be phone or ipod. I doubt I will be getting a sub, but having the ability to easily hook one up is a plus.

I don't expect a high performance system, just a quality unit.

Kenwood eXcelon has an entry level piece that is nice. You have iPod audio connectivity but it may require a separate adapter. Alpine has a new line of CDE units that are affordable and feature packed,

you arent going to get as much with alpine as you will with others. alpine tends to be higher priced. check this one out.

Pioneer DEH-6300UB Car Stereo CD/MP3 Receiver with Aux In and USB/iPod

it got really high reviews and I have talked to a guy with one. He said that his only problem with it was depending on the formating of the music on his Ipod that some times the integrated controls act funny.
