Currently, i can only get the top LCD display to show either the Channel Name or Category. I cannot get it to select the Artist or Song Name. It will show it when the song changes, but for only a few seconds.

My 05 Acura will let me select this, so am I missing something to get this to show the artist all the time?

Good question. I agree this should be a user-defined display that lets you cycle through the information you want to display. I do not have a 2006 to play with to give you a definite answer but I read the manual. It's made by Alpine and they usually allow for that feature to be adjusted with a press of a button. On the radio this should be the TITLE button.

and category.
You can also change the mode from

button to display the menu items,
then turn the selector **** to select
MODE/CATEGORY and press the
