Hey all, just recently my stereo LCD display has taken a real dive in terms of viewable quality i.e. display for the most part is no longer visable...unless the display is in direct sunlight. Is this something the average joe can repair himself or is this a job for the dealership? Either way, what might be the cost involved? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

If it's under warranty at all I'd take it in to the dealership, make sure there are no recalls on that particular deck.... Otherwise I'd make sure that your fuses for the stereo are ok

 

It's a common problem, needs a new audio unit.

 

You need to buy a new LCD Display.
