radio giving PEO code inserting CD
i have a 99 honda accord thats giving out a PEO code at when ever i put in a cd ....
whats making the radio give out this code ( a malfunction in the settings ) ....???
and how can i again play cds in the car ....

the code is a disc read error. it can happen when trying to play scratched or burned CD's.
if it does it with original, non-scratched CD's then it is likely the optical pickup has yellowed enough to no longer read the disc. time for a replacement. luckily, these 6th gen cars have very easy radios to replace. you just need a mounting kit and a 70-1721 wire harness adapter.
