Replacement Navigation system reccomendations for 05 EX ?
Hi all. I have an '05 EX with dual climate. My Nav DVD sh•t the bed and I don't really want to pay Alpine $400 to fix my existing (if it can even be fixed). I'm looking at going the Ebay route for a used one, but am really wondering if I can just put in an aftermarket unit that will bypass the whole DVD in the trunk nightmare. Anyone have any suggestions? I was looking at this unit, which may do the trick but would love advice from anyone who's actually replaced the old Nav with something new.

Thanks!
Thanks!
I was going to go that route but read too many bad reviews. They have better ones out there that are a newer but not enough reviews with time. I just purchased a used DVD player from eBay and it has been fine. When it goes out again I'll just buy a new one from the dealership that should last another 10 years.
I think when I priced it it was around $500 including the core charge and you get $150 back when your turn in the core. I should of went that route in the beginning
