Default Sound System for 2012 Accord SE

This forum seems really cool and informative!

I need some advice. I just bought a 2012 Honda Accord SE and of course I'm not at all happy with the speakers and have bought Polk Audio components for the front and coax'sfor the rear deck.

I'm looking for a 8" or 10" sub to put in the trunk to enhance the sound a bit more but I want to keep as much trunk space as I can.

Any suggestions on good sounding subs that will take up minimal space? I was told a JL Audio 10W3v3 will fit in a small box and fit int he corner ont he right side of the trunk right behind the brake lights.

Let me know what you guys think and any suggestions.

I think I'll move this over to the A/V Electronics forum. Not everybody cruises over to this welcome & intro board very often.

UltraSubs makes some outstanding products, and their LV10 is a great performer as low as 0.4 cu.ft. the less expensive A-10 is another good option. a fiberglass enclosure that utilizes the side trunk storage will sound the best while not taking up trunk space.

Where did you get your sub box made? Custom fiberglass boxes here in Houston cost quite a bit.

That's not bad at all. I'm trying to keep everything at a budget. NOne of the local people here in Houston sell/make the boxes at a resonable price.
