Default Speaker Output

Does anyone know what the output is on factory speakers? I got a new deck, and I'm wondering if I should get some Alpines or just leave them stock. I've got a year 2000.

5W.

Get new speakers, ASAP...they will make SUCH a big difference. With Alpines, get a high sensitivity rating ~90dB (higher the better) unless you plan on amping them.

I think an amp is a little out of my price range. Plus, I don't want something really incredibly powerful, but I do want a good bit of heavy bass and clean, crisp sound. I'm thinking that a new deck and good speakers will accomplish that? Cause the deck I got is already pumping the **** out of my stock speakers! Nothing starts rattling, but when I pump the bass all the way, you can really feel it in your ribcage. Do you guys suggest Alpine, Infinity, or what? I don't want something super-pricey, but I also want people to say "whoa."

Also, how hard is it to install your own speakers (I have never done it before)? I also have very little experience with wiring and whatnot. Should I shell $90 for best buy to do them, or can I probably get it done somewhere else for cheaper?

Sometimes BBY and other stores will throw in free installation with purchase of a head unit, just FYI...

speaker installation is as simple as it gets. remove, replace, connect harness. post wont let me go into detail.

Anyone know the output of the doors on the 06? I'm thinking about getting new ones.
