I'd say 2 way since there is a tweeter in the dash.

If you mean 3 way as in mid, tweeter and "super tweeter" then go with 2 way. Super tweeters are the stupidest thing to ever come into the audio world. Get a good set of the JL coaxial 2 way speakers.

I love my JL VRs, best sound for the money. I paid about $170 for each pair. Go with the VR650 CSi up front, and the VR690CXi in the back. 3 and 4 way speakers are the biggest joke. Unless its a true 3 way with a separate woofer, mid bass, and a tweeter. Like Macleod said "super tweeters" are just a feature to get people who don't know any better to buy their set.

EDIT: All the JL models are called "Evolution XX" so you must be talking about the TRs if the 6x9s are 3 ways. I have never heard TRs, but they can't sound as good as the VRs. I really recommend getting the VRs, and if you do be sure to amp them. You should even amp the TRs if you didn't already. You could always go for a set of C5s, god I would love a set of C5s[sm=icon_cheers.gif].
