Any tips on how to remove the speaker from my Accord. I want to swap the Polk speakers out of my 1991 Accord Wagon. Has anybody noticed how wimpy these factory speakers are?

Ya, factory does suck...even moreso in older cars.

 

Actually my moms 93 accord ex has pretty damn good sounding speakers for stock.

 

Go to www.crutchfield.com I have used these guys for all of my stereo needs and they have been awesome. They'll give you blue prints of your cars interior which will locate step by step were each screw or bolt is located in order to replace that speaker. Plus they can confirm that it will even fit.

 

Well I know with my accord I had to take the door panels off for the front speakers, and I had to go in the trunk and unscrew the rear speakers to get them out. I may be changing them again in like 2 weeks.

 

i love doing the rear speakers in honda accord sedans! especially the sixth gen! SO EASY!
