Default subwoofer help

Hi guys I just purchased a 2000 Accord V6, fully loaded with leather, sunroof, heated seats, etc. etc. etc. The thing is that I DO NOT want to upgrade the electrical system, or cause ANY RISK of throwing out the alternator, or any other electrical damages with my soundsystem. I currently have 2 12" infinity 1230w subwoofers and a Polk Audio/MOMO 500w RMS monoblock amplifier. Will my stock electrial sysem be able to handle this 500w RMS monoblock amp with 2 12" subs, even with all the poweredoptions I have on my car? Without putting my electrical system at risk? Or is this risky business on a stock electricals? Thanks!!!

Will handle it fine... I run 750W on the stock system and Die Hard battery...

By the way, your subs are severely under powered.

My subs are 300w rms each and my amp is rated at 540w rms on the birth sheet. I dont think they are underpoweredmuch are they??So i gather my car will have no problem handeling my500w rms amp(well, technically rated at 540w rms on virth sheet) then....

I wouldn't say they are underpowered if they are rated for 300w. Your Alt will take that just fine, if you really want to be safe upgrade your big 3 and you will ease the load on the alt a bit. If this was a 85 Eldorado than yes I would be concerned, but not in your 6th gen.

i just realized i said 1230w when referring to the subs, which is the MODEL, not the wattage. sorry to confuse. They are 1200w MAX, 300w rms (continous) each. My amp is the polk c500.1

Sounds like from what the other guys say, you shouldn't have too many problems. Although if you do, Power Acoustik makes a deal called a capcell you should check out.
