Swap on 03 Accord Stock Stereo
I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped out their stock stereos for 2003 honda accord? I have the climate control panels on the same face of my stereo and wondering if they make any type of kits to convert it? It currently has the 6-disc in dash changer and would like to use an ipod/ mp3 player instead of cds...

I think my 2004 may have the same unit as your 2003 and if it does I am also curious to hear any responses. I don't even know any good websites to check for this stuff. On the other hand, I know plenty of great website to get computer parts on the cheap.

if the climate controls are digital as in the temp is displayed on the screen then it cannot be swapped. if you just want to add mp3 player your best option would be to use the aux in and hook an mp3 up to that.
if it is not digital than yes there are replacement mounting kits that accept single din head units.

there are several interfaces - an axillary input and an ipod interface. Pac-Audio, USA Spec, GROM all make OEM interface products for select Honda radios. Whether or not your radio is compatible depends on the trim level and options. There needs to be an unused factory input for another source, such as XM, that can be used instead.
The good interfaces aren't cheap, they are around $100. there are cheap ones on ebay but all i hear are people complaining and buying the good ones anyway, so they are just money wasted.
The last option is FM Modulators. While less expensive, the sound quality isn't as good. Avoid wireless FM modulators, only buy wired modulators that are in-line with the factory antenna. Like the Clarion FM200.
