I got an Alpine cd deck and a whole entire system in the trunk. When playing a cd, my system knocks like crazy, but when i switch to the radio, i can hardly hear my system beat..Why is that? I checked the amp when the radio is on, and the amp is on and the subs beat really soft.

 

Thats normal, it has always done that to me. I think it was to do with the sound quality loss from FM transmissions.

 

yea, radio transmissionscut off a certain portion of lower frequencies...

 

get an HD radio!!!! JVC-HDR1 FTW!!!
