I'm setting my audio system for 5.1, so I'm going to have a set of ambient tweeters where there some on the top of the dash, and will have a set of 6 1/2 components in the doors. I should be getting ready to do the install soon.

I put my tweeters on my door panel, at the very top front part. People told me this wouldn't sound good, but if you have a lot of bass I highly recommend doing the same. I'm on vacation in the bahamas now, but when I get back into town I am going to take pics so you can see what I am talking about.

Im not sure what generation the 07 is but in mine I stuck them in the stock locations. Since I got the VP package, mine came without any tweeters up there from the factory. I had some pods that are used for my component speakers that look like mushrooms. Its made to mount the tweeter in the top and then you slide the pod into the middle of the midrange for a coaxial configuration. I simply put the tweeter in the top of the pod like its supposed to go and then set it down into the tweeter hole. Its big enough that it wont fall over so it worked fine.

This isnt a great location for them tho. Im having a lot of problems getting my imaging right. Im thinking seriously of moving them to the A pillars. I think this will be the best mounting spot for them.
