Default XM radio conversion??????

Guys, will the factory XM antenna plug directly into an XM ready Alpine deck? Is there an adapter? Any ideas?
If not, what would I have to do to remove the stock antenna and replace it with the one that comes in the kit?

Default RE: XM radio conversion??????

anything factory hardly ever resembles something aftermarket! WHY? id't make life so much easier!

I think u are just gonna have to replace the factory antenna, bro.... U'll have to get the XM adaptor for the alpine deck, but as for running the new antenna? I've never removed the factory XM antenna, so i don't know how hard that would be.....

that's why i'm leaving my factory radio in my car until I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T stand it ANYMORE!
