i would personally be more concerned with Ah (amp hours) rather than CCA. i think the battery i have is like 1000CCA and 100 or so Ah...but after lookin at the original post he says he is running a 1000watt max amp ( so probably 500rms), i dont think he should need any electrical upgrades (it his amp is indeed 500rms).

 

oh yeah ... look at that! I was reading his sig thinking 1000 W max, so thats 500, (2) 500 W RMS 12's and by that time I forgot that the am is only 500 Watts!!!! It's been a very long day. Thanks for catching my mistake! [sm=headbang.gif]

As for CCA vs Ah, I'm basically just concerned with CCA for starting my car. Once it's running, the alt is more than enough for what I have.
