Default Coil

The other day I was driving and the car just died. Tested the coil (external) and found that it was no good. Replaced it and the car started right up but only ran for about 5 seconds and the coil burn't out again. Any ideas why that would happen or some possible fixes would be apprieciated. Thanks. Oh yeah, it is a 93 accord 2.3L

I'm not sure I'll check first thing in the morning. Could you tell mehow the spark plugs would affect the coil like this and what ones would be the best ones would be. It would be great if that what the problem is. Thanks for your help.

Bosch plugs can fry your coil because the resistance is wrong. You need to get NGK (Honda OEM) plugs in any of your liking (copper, Iridium IX, Double Plat) as long as their in the same family as the model number on the Emissions sticker on the underside of the hood.

LOL, I find this statement kinda funny. You do realize that if this is the case, you still need to replace the coil again. Not the worst repair, but I hate doing things twice ..... and it seems to happen all too often!
