legit search sites for specific accords
current 08 si orig owner looking for a specific accord-- 6cyp mt cpe...is there anywhere in existence to do a search for said accord??--seems like there are dozens of search sites that all are mostly band-aided from other search sites that only work half-assed.....there isn't of course that I can find --a nationwide database ..one wonders why not/? you can bet there are some for the surviellars
--meanwhile, I get outdated and non-relevant results.-
autotemptest claims that....!! after days of trying to master that ..it has proven to be cumbersome and nonproductive but if you were looking for a 1949 Packard probably would find it ...but not a 6cy mt cpe.!!-----Thanks for any pertinent information regarding this search tool

Back in 2017 I was in the same boat looking for a clean 3G Acura TL with a 6-Speed Manual, one which was completely stock. In the end it took me 5 months of searching AutoTrader, CraigsList, and any other car resale site I could use before I found my 2006 TL 6MT. Yes, I over paid for the car, and happily so. Why? I looked at over 100 cars, nation wide I might add, before I finally found mine, and when I did, ain't no way I was going to let someone else buy it. So, have patience, have the cash on hand, and keep looking; when you find the right car, plunk the cash down there and then.
Thank you very much for the encouraging note and thank you for taking the trouble to respond to me I'm an old guy- old -08 SI that I bought new got 195,000 on it now -just starting to look, for no real reason -my current si got probably another hundred fifty thousand in it it's very well-maintained, meticulously, by me.
I normally am not a wishy-washy type of guy but after researching these Accords V6/manual transmissions coupes- there seems to be a lot of engine end transmission problems- transmission of course with the autos - so now I'm looking at maybe the 2.4 motor 2017 Honda Si. we will see how that goes...likely not well..but we will see.
My idea is- I got about 5 months to search - I figure because of the covid-19 problems and the back up in the economy the used car market will bottom on used cars in about 5 months that should be a good time to buy-- providing I have something to buy.(or as you alluded to when I get the chance)
there is a kid I think he works at Walmart he's got the neatest 2006 little Accord you ever seen -I talked to him, at least by text- he's indicated to me that he had a friend put in a manual 6-speed and replace the original automatic - it's all tricked out I'm going to try to include a couple of pictures that I took of it I took it so I could figure out what year it was-- its really small but since I've talked to him and got more information it is a 2006--
so thanks for the encouragement I'm going to continue to look and if something happens I'm in the market at least pursue this kids car I've got the money so he doesn't obviously (would be working at Walmart) will see-
I will at least take it to my guy and let my guy look at it- my guy is Honda wizard he does it for a living --
once again thank you very much for your kind response --
again I'm getting a little itchy about the transmissions in the motors on the 2013 to 2017 I think the 16’s and 17’s we're pretty good but before the 15th and 14th I think we're stinkers-
there is a website called carcomplaints it pretty well narrows of down this stuff takes a lot of effort and it takes hours and hours and days and days of research--
I wish there was one one database Nationwide where you can put in specifics and search for every car that was on sale - but there's not so it's trip stumble and fall-
it is true you got to have a certain amount of diligence in commitment-AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE...AS I MENTIONED I LOST MY ORIGINAL REPLY THE REASON THIS READS FUNNY IS- it is VOICE TO TEXT- NO I AM NOT DRUNK...JUST NOT GOING TO REDO IT..

If you are looking at V6 models with 6-Speed manual transmissions, I do not believe there are any inherent design flaws with the transmissions; all Accord V6 6-Speeds are the same unit as in my Acura TL with the exception of having an open differential versus Acura's limited slip diff. That said, there was, and possibly still is, a problem with Honda's formulation for their manual transmission fluid (MTF); the issue would typically manifest itself in 3rd-gear, the gear would either grind or not fully engage and then pop-out. The fix is to drain the MTF from the transmission and replace it with ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified (part number 10-4041). When I bought my TL it too had the issue; the Synchromesh fixed the issue and now the transmission shifts smooth as hot butter, and has for the 70,000 miles I've owned the car.
As for being old, yeah, I resemble that remark, it is certainly possible I'm older than you.
