And dont' run the A/C! The smell will stick in the vents and that sucks for resale value (if you care about that).

Since you didn't mention smell, I wanted to at least advise that there's a jar you can buy that has wax in it to trap the smells.. these work great, but if the car gets hot from sitting in the sun these turn into bowls of liquid... I found out the hard way!!!!!!!!! It sure did a good job of suckign up the smell, but as I took off it spilled all inside my cup holder (damn was I lucky). the sprays didn't do crap for the cloth seats to take the smell out...

As for cleaning, I don't think it's possible... The owner before me smoked, and you can tell sometimes when i slam my visor up you'll see some "dust" come down, but you smell it and it smells like smoke.. ugh...

anyway, good luck to ya!
I dont know what yall use for the smell, but ive found that spraying "FEBREEZE" into the vents and running it on high and circulate for bout 5 min. always works for me

Yeah Febreeze FTW. I forget about it though. Need to pick some up next time I go to WallyWorld

Jon .... while you're there, get a fridge pack of baking soda and put it in the ductwork in front of your cabin filters. That should help take out the smell.

The car actually does not smell like smoke. I leave the windowns cracked every day (when it doesn't rain) and normally I leave at least one window all the way down in my garage at night.
My problem is all the ashes everywhere.

When I had my car for sale they asked if it was smoked in, I lied and said no (because it hadn't been smoked in yesterday...) they came and looked at it, sat in it, drove it and never made a single comment, I've had non smokers in my car and they can't tell

Also, the cabin filter is a quick and easy fix for a smell..

I just replaced mine (I don't smoke in the car) and DAMN it was duuuuurrrrty... About 4 times dirtier than my intake filter... WHEW!

As for the ashes being the problem, try lining a cup or something with aluminum foil, and then some syran wrap (food wrap)...
The wrap will attract the ashes.. and the foil will stop the whole thing from melting/going up in flames...

i asked my aunt, and she uses this technique in her car and it's pretty clean.

I could do the same except for a few tiny burns that were already there when I bought it.
Sometimes I suspected my wife of causing one of them backwhen she smoked (before she found out she was pregnant.) I swore one was not there when I bought it...she insisted it was.

Behind the glovebox. You gotta remove the glovebox to get to it. From the DIY section: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/HOW...m_20341/tm.htm
