Meguiar's has done great for me. I've found they're pretty good on price and quality. Especially compared to Turtle Wax. Only good thing by turtle wax is the upholstery cleaner.

The perfect detail is their ultimate compound followed by ultimate polish and then some carnauba wax. Does beautifully on darker cars especially. Clay kits are only really needed if your car needs a really good overhaul.

For headlights- 1500 and then 2000 grit wet sand, really really well. Then Meguiar's PlastX, it does better than other's of that price range that I've found. Takes a minute but once it starts working you see them shine right up.

Always switch to a clean cloth for each step. Lots of clean microfiber cloths and lots of patience.

Wax? I use meguiars gold class.. Any better suggestions? Depends with your budget Collinate or Zymol are my recommendations.

Leather conditioner/cleaner? Lexol would be a good brand to use.

Wheel cleaner? Chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner

Clay bar? Thinking about trying the mothers clay bar.. Anyone tried this. Yup works well.

Headlight restorer? Megs heavy duty head restoration kit do work, but expensive.
