Alloy wheels take the same kind of care for they are clearcoated just like most of the Chrome wheels out there.

Use the same soft sudsing car wash you would use on your cars body finish and you wont go wrong. If your alloy wheels get the clear coat finish coming off they will pit and or corrode or spot where ever the clear coat finish is lifting..and again everything that will make your chrome finish go bad will also make your alloy finish go bad just as fast..

I used the small Mothers Powerball and some polish on my coated wheels. They really came out well and the ball got into the little nooks that are difficult to clean.
