How do you get them off? Not stickers but actual Emblems (sp?) the ones that have the dealership names they all put on cars. They all put them on the cars coming off the truck so people won't request they don't do it...

 

Use a plastic razor blade so you don't scratch your paint, and use something like goo-gone or another hydrophobic solvent to get the residue that's leftover after it's taken off. Be sure to rinse the solvent off after you're done, maybe just wash the whole car?

I also found that if you use your razor blade along with a Hair Dryer to heat it up, that it will come off quite easy.

Use a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive then use dental floss (unwaxed) to saw through the adhesive backing. Then you can use a solvent like goo gone to clean off any remaining adhesive.

 

thats a good idea right there. never thought to use dental floss

 

Someone talked about washing the area/car afterwards.......also be sure to put some wax on the area to help protect the paint, the solvents that remove the glue will take the wax off as well.
