Leather Steering Wheel

Hi all.
I am a the proud new owner of a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L. I am also a law enforcement officer. I have come across something interesting. I am usually suited up when I go to/from work, and I've noticed that it must be that my leather on my gun holster has rubbed the steering wheel, because now I have these marks where it feels a bit rough, almost like someone took their fingernail and scrapped a line on the leather steering wheel. Is there any quick and easy fix to smooth that back out? Its kinda driving me nuts. LOl
Thanks in advance!
Justin

you could try some leather treatment that would soften it up a little bit and help prevent the problem from occuring in the future as well as smooth it out a little.... I'd just use some leather seat treatment... you could also put a cover on it... I'd assume you already realize that though and you probably hate steeringwheel covers.... *L*
