Default Leather Steering Wheel

A week ago I bought a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 coupe and I just noticed a very small nick in the leather of the steering wheel. It is not deep, just on the surface, and barely visible, but I am worried that it will get worse over time. I have been driving the car for a week and the only reason I noticed it was because I was looking it the right direction and saw a slight difference in texture. On the other hand, the leather is pierced for the stitching and these holes don't tear or get worse over time. It's not even a mm long and I don't want to be nit picky because they are already replacing one of the alloy wheels that I found a small nick on. Will the nick get worse over time?
