Default Looking for a half A$$ed wheel cleaner....

Ok - I know the best way to clean your wheels is with a brush, a lot of elbow grease and a good wheel cleaner from Meiguars and such. Have done it many times. But with a disability and other things in my life, I need something I can buy by the gallon at Home Depot, dilute 1/2 strength in a spray bottle and take it to a spray wand car wash and get off most of the wheel crud. Right now I'm using Simple Green, any body got anything cheaper (or better) like some of the citrus cleaners? That still will leave my clear coat unaffected?

And I know to hold the wand far away...no worries here....

I know of better products but they are not available at Home Depot. Cost is higher but dilution ratios are higher also so it goes farther. Is it worth the extra expense in the long run? Probably not, stick with what you're using, just don't let it dwell on the wheels too long beforerinsing.

I use water .... and I don't do a half @$$ed job either. The cleaner doesn-t matter if you keep up with the cleaning. When you get the wheels really clean, try Wheel Shield.
