Default Alloy Wheel Cleaner?

Rims on 1997 Accord showing some hard to clean spots (oxidization). Any recommended cleaners I should try?

Thanks
Ray

Ray, I'd start off by trying a gentle polish that you would consider safe for use on the car's paintwork. A basic "cleaner/wax" may work as well.

Either a polish or something more abrasive. It really depends on how bad it is, since oxidation isn't something stuck on the finish, it's a chemical change in the metal, so you would have to remove it with sandblasting and/or sanding and re-clearing the wheels to make it completely disappear.

^^^ Good stuff ... I've used that before ..... need a lot of elbow grease and time to go with that little jar of blue cream, but it made my mufflers shine nice and pretty-like!

Try Blue Magic metal polish cream. It's not so abrasive that it will wear through the rest of the clearcoat on your rims, like other metal polish products can.
