Wax them! j/k Don't brake as hard or don't use pads that create a lot of dust, especially with slotted/drilled rotor setups. I have gunmetal wheels so they hide a lot of dirt. Another thing to do is just to wipe them off when they look a little dirty.

Poorboy's Spray & Wipe, Wet Paint Glaze, any off the shelf quick Detailer, and a pack of microfiber towels from Sams or Wal-Mart. Dedicate those towels strictly to wheels, doorjambs, and the like.

Yeh use soft microfiber cloths while cleaning them. And as stated, any quick-detail spray will clean them well. Just spray and wipe them about every 2 days

Routine cleaning and checking of car parts is very essential, just like your wheels. For me, the best way is by washing and using wax afterwards. This will make your wheels extend its life span.
