1987 Honda Accord stalls on stop with clutch disengaged
So, I'm new to this car stuff. I'm a college student and need to get my car back on the road as soon as possible. I'm trying to take responsibility for the car I drive rather than having my parents have to take care of this stuff.
Here's my problem:
We just recently got the car to smog by having to get a new Carb. The problem is that it's been less than a month and the car is having issues similar to what was discussed in this forum.
I noticed yesterday that my car was idling really, really low. I thought nothing of it, but within a few hours, the car would just die if the clutch was disengaged. So when I'm slowing down to stop with the clutch disengaged the car dies. It drops rapidly too. I've got about 2 seconds to get the clutch reengaged or I lose it. Yesterday alone, on one trip I had to start the car 5 times or more.
If I could get suggestions on what might be the problem, I'd really appreciate it.
