A mechanic told me this was normal for a elderly honda to stutter on a stop. Does any one else have this problem?
My car is 129,230 miles and was recently taken in for a new radiator, hoses, distributor, master cyclinder and tuneup.
I dont want to spend more money on this car, yet I want it to last 2-5 more years

 

By stutter do you mean shake? Because apparently it is normal... Is it when you're braking or when you are idling? Because if it is when you are braking it is probably your rotors... at idle it could be a million things... mounts, injectors, idle speed, etc. etc.

 

if it's doing it at a stop light it could be fixed by just adjusting your idle speec (as mentioned)... What does it idle at now?
