I just bought a 1995 honda accord with 320 k on it. I was wondering if i could swap that engine out ( along with whatever else) to a more powerful engine, possilbly v-tech? What is a rough estimate of time and money?

Im new to the site so i hope you guys can help

I second the H22A. Big hp difference between stock and that motor.

H22a, i have heard that a accord manual tranny will bolt up to the h22a. You can get the engine without tranny for 1000-1500ish, depending on year, miles, condition, and whats included. If you install it yourself you will prob save at least a grand in labor fees

Rough time estimate...with proper tools and someone experienced with swaps, it can be done in a weekend. For beginners without the help, could be a week or two.

the H22a is the Prelude engine right? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm only good with 7th gens. :/
