where did you get 109K from? my gf has an 2000 accord with 104K miles on it and i just called the dealership for her and they said its only covered up to 100K. So what should she do now? Any advice? Please help. Thanks.
I think that's from some stupid class action lawsuit in california. Probably doing the lawyers more good than anyone else.

how many miles now? the warranty has been extended to 109K or 7 years 9 months (tentative settlement should be final in december)

from here

put your vin in and it will tell you settlement becomes final in december if everything goes according to plan (it should have no snags or this site would not be there)

Call HOA and tell them about your problem and that you understand that there is a proposed settlement in this case that extends the warranty to 7 years and 9 months or 109K whichever comes first.

I believe Transmission class action suit has been approved. Can someone confirm that? So i just bring my accord to the dealer to get the transmissoin fixed for free ifit fitsthe requirements.

click on the above link for VIN validation and that will tell you If it's covered, or just call the local dealer and tell them what you have going on.... it looks like the case settled on Dec 28 of 06

Welcome to HAF.

There might be a few things you can try?

Sorry to say but the auto trans in the 98-02 Accord's are not the best....get one older or newer and they are what you expect from a Honda.
