2003 Accord EX v6 - Sputters & Hard Start when Cold. 295k miles
Hey guys.
Had my motor rebuilt 3 months ago. With that I replaced: Starter, Battery, oil pump, pcv valve, spark plugs.
At the time of the rebuild, the fuel injectors were dirty and not all sprayed fuel correctly. Opted to do a cleaning, understanding that a replacement would follow pretty soon afterwards.
The engine ran fine. No Check Engine Codes.
Two weeks ago, I started to notice a hard start when the engine was cold. AND the RPM will dip and correct itself every other cold start.
Last week decided to replace all fuel injectors with Hitachi brand ones that i got off rkauto. The Symptoms still persist.
What's the next step in diagnosing the issue? Where should I look? 🔧 Before I pay for a diagnostic...$$$
My gut tells me to replace the fuel pump since that is original but what do you guys think?
