Is there a way to bypass so I can stick a regulator on the fuel system?

Not really sure?

From what I can see in pic's.....you might be able to cap the "vent". It looks like the regulator is maybe "spring driven" and once the pressure pushes the spring back the fuel is just vented back into the tank.....

So could you thread a screw/bolt into the vent? Can you "jam" the spring so it does not move?

Might be worth a bone yard run and pull a regulator from another 7th gen and do some playing around with it? I would try getting the whole pump as they will know that is worth $$'s. If you remove the reg from the pump and "check out" with just it, they might not even know what it is and let you go for $5~$10....just a random little valve off a Honda?

PS- Highly suggest a shop manual for the car.......for ~$22 you can download a pretty good one (for ~$27 you can get a CD shipped) and I'm not talking a chilton or haynes.
