lol ya we all wish we could just bumped our hp up like that. i have a 2002 inline 4 F23A1. it is stock 150hp at the crank. and i put exhaust, headers, cai, pulley kit, spark plug wires, ground wires on it and im lucky if im hitting like 190 at the crank. and all of that was close to 2k. and im no where near 300hp lol

And we are talking about a goal of 300hp AT THE WHEELS. Im sorry man, but I dont think $2000 will get an 03 Accord V6 to 300hp at the wheels.

a comptech charger is going to run over 3500 but it can easily take you to those levels.

with the K24 i can pull it to over 230 at the wheels with 2kish

Headers, intake, Civic SI Plenum, RSX throttle body, Vtec head from TSX or RSX (possible JDM head) that brings you up to 240ish at the crank... from there cams and a megasquirt tuning system will take it to 280ish at the crank... thats 250 at the wheels...

Average hp loss from crank to the wheels is 15-20%. So say your engine is rated 100hp at the crank (just to make this easy), you are making 80-85 wheel horsepower. So if you are making 240 at the crank, you are looking at 204 whp (using a 15% loss) and if you have 280 hp at the crank, you are putting 238 hp to the wheels.

In other words, you have to make 353 crank horsepower to have 300 hp at the wheels (still assuming just a 15% loss).

its possible to do with scrounging 2000$ worth of parts but under normal conditions its not something that you will be able to do

thats a very exadurated number... threw most built trannys (or manuals) the loss is nominal... 5-10%

It's possible to make 300-350 on an accord but not practical, plus it's tough to fit much into the V6 engine bay from what I can tell. If your looking for more like +40, thats can be done. I'd say i/h/e, a cam and cam gears, a tune, and some pulleys would be a few pretty good mods to get you going. AEM and Unorthodox make pulleys. DC or Comptech would be a great header, but OBX is supposed to be good (and cheaper) as well. For cat backs, Apexi and Greddy are great bets. There's also magnaflow, tanabe...plenty more. I know AEM should have a cam gear for your make/model, and I'm not sure if there are any aftermarket V6 accord cams so, you'd have to do a regrind if you can't find one.
