6th Generation 1999 Honda Accord V6 stalls
This Honda Accord V6 EX automatic with 239k miles stalls, i.e. engine dies about once a week.
I have tried to replace the Idle air control valve, the MAP sensor, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the air filter. New spark plugs were installed at 205k miles.
All the Vacuum lines are okay. And there are no Check engine lights on the dash.
After about 15 minutes of driving or sometimes after 35 minutes of driving. The car stalls at a stoplight. This occurs right when I slow down and stop the car. Sometimes the engine has the a/c on. Sometimes the a/c is off. The engine just dies. This happens about once every week.
Afterwards, I have to press the brake, put it in park, turn off, and turn on, car starts back up with no issues.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to solve this problem. TIA.
