I am thinking about purchasing a 1981 accord 2 dr manual and was wondering what transmission / engine swaps would be applicable. Something that would be an easyish project would be nice

 

I use to have one of these, 2dr hatch-silver...Sold it and got my first 3rd gen (86 DX 4 dr, 5 speed...kids came along and a car seat in the back of a hatch...well) Sorry can't really help on swap ideas. What are you planning/thinking?
