88 hemorrhaging coolant...
First post, so not sure if in the right place, but here goes. I have a 88 DX, and have been building it up, fixing gaskets, repaired the exhaust, etc. I've gotten it where I can drive it daily, and now I have coolant spraying up onto the block from under the carb from... somewhere. I can't see where it's coming from, tried following hoses from the radiator and everything looks good in and out of the block. It's a good amount of fluid, about a cup's worth in 10 seconds or so, so I SHOULD be able to see it. Am I missing something here? Don't want to start up and trace the water back unless I have to, so any help would be appreciated!

i suspect there are both vacuum and coolant lines connecting to the intake manafold. coolant will have 2 connections, supply and return. will look like vacuum hoses.

THe problem is that I can't get to the underside of the engine very easily. Cars low to the ground, and all I have is a floorjack and some stands, doesn't leave alot of room. If it's a hose, I'm fairly sure it's on the bottom of the engine just above the oil pan, to the (from underneath looking up), right of the oil filter. I need to know what part that is, and if there's any complications with taking it off. Tracing the lines from radiator led me to the firewall, but I can't see that far down to the return from there, and can't get a light underneath. Heater return hose I guess, I'm not even sure it's the return form the firewall...
