ok the battery went dead in my honda because it has been sitting for awhile but when i go to jump it off it will stay running untill we take off the jumper cables?? so is my battery too dead to or could it be the alternator?? plz help

 

Need to get the battery tested. Stores like AutoZone will do it for free. Pull the battery out and take it to them. it may just need a good charge
