Okay before i do anything i want to ask what to do. I have a 1991 Honda accord lx and i want to make it faster. I mean everyone says OH OH PUT IN TURBO OR SUPERCHARGERS! but i want to hear it from guys that do it and get some input. And if turbo and super charger is the only hope which brand is good for my car.

what do you want the car setup for? do you want a fast 1/4 mile, a fast DD, or a fast track car? NOS is cheap, easy and quick but it's useless unless you're going in a straight line...

 

Fast track

 

then go with a fully built G22 turbo pushing 18 psi and about 480 HP. A 35 HP wet shot will help spool the T3/T4 quickly.

BTW --- why would you pick an accord for a track only car?

 

older accords make good auto X cars.... and nos on a track car is a bad thing, it helps spin the tires and breaks traction to quickly... by fast track are we talking oval or curvy track/slalom?

Well me and my friends go to the track and race our cars, but this honda was given to me and i cant really afford another car but upgrades i could... Hmm how much would the turbo be? and where can i find it

 

what kind of track, straight, curvy, round, banked corners...? I need to know what style of racing you're doing and how the track is laid out to help you get a setup worth racing..

and Falk, yeah the accord won't touch a CRX in Auto X unless it's a Stock CRX vs. Fully moded Accord....
